愛 "Love is patient, love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud. It does not dishonor others, it is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered, it keeps no record of wrongs.Love does not delight in evil but rejoices with the truth. It always protects, always trusts, always hopes, always perseveres. Love never fails"
-1 Corinthians 13:4-8a

The Goal in any God/Christ centered relationship/friendship should be to continually lead/point the other person towards Christ , not continually draw attention towards each other.

“Do you know why teachers use me? Because I speak in tongues. I write metaphors. Every one of my stories is a metaphor you can remember. The great religions are all metaphor. We appreciate things like Daniel and the lion’s den, and the Tower of Babel. People remember these metaphors because they are so vivid you can’t get free of them and that’s what kids like in school. They read about rocket ships and encounters in space, tales of dinosaurs. All my life I’ve been running through the fields and picking up bright objects. I turn one over and say, Yeah, there’s a story.” —Ray Bradbury, born on this day in 1920

All I want is someone fall in love with me for the right reasons, and none of them have something to do with appearance.

Funny, isn’t it? We can migrate billions of people of a dying planet, but we can’t save ourselves from heartache.
